Welcome to the Scales Page, there are many different scale models that you can purchase from the smallest 1/18th scales to the very large 1/4 scales.
At M.A.D.R.R.C. our most popular classes at the moment are 1/8th Buggy's, 1/8th Truggy's, Monster Trucks. But every one is welcome to run what they bring as we will Endeavour to find a class for you to run in.

Very popular class with many manufacturers being fearcly competitive with new products and developments , there is just too much to choose from and the prices have been very competitive accross the whole range . Some of the manufacturers are : Mugen Seiki (Mbx5r) Xray (Xb8ec) Kyosho (Mp777) HongNor (X1x-cr) Team Associated (Rc8) Team Losi (8ight) Ofna (Hyper8, Hyper7, Hyper7 rtr) Team Magic (M1-b turbo) GS Racing (Storm CL-1) plus many more smaller manufacturers we don't see hear in Australia .

Popular class that has only started to emerge here in Australia and is growing very rapidly this class has been stable in the USA for many years and is just starting to gain momentum over here . The difference between a buggy and are truggy are mainly longer chassis plate , longer arms , greater drivetrain reduction to suit the monster truck tires and again all the major manufacturers offer a truggy variant in there range .

Popular class because most people buy one of these as there first car and then dicide they enjoy this and dicide to come have a race , Bit of an ill handling class due to there top heavy design and being almost indestructable we are now seeing a lot of people have switched over to Truggy because of there great handling and also parts and engines are some what standardized between truggy and buggy .
There are many more classes that are run around the country that are also sanctioned classes some of these are 1/10th scale electric 2wd or 4wd buggy with various motors , 1/10th scale 2wd truck with various motors.
2wd engine upto 2.1cc minimum weight 1725g run to AARMCC rules
Popular class with the hardcore and mature racers and is very much the Drivers class as it is very challenging to drive a 2wd nitro truck with some times very little grip , overall this class is very cheap to run at a competitive level .
